The price a female influencer can ask for a single ad format depends on several factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reach (fan\/follower count) on social media<\/li><li>Engagement rate (e.g. likes, shares, comments)<\/li><li>CPM (cost per thousand impressions)<\/li><li>Fixed pricing per campaign<\/li><li><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/digiday.com\/marketing\/what-influencer-marketing-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">On Instagram<\/a>, influencers with over 100,000 fans could make $1,000\/post<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Working with female influencers has its perks; although there\u2019s no standard price per campaign. It\u2019s up to you to decide how much you\u2019re willing to pay. <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/socialprchat.com\/pr-under-the-influence-why-influencer-marketing-is-all-the-buzz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Social PR Chat reports <\/a>that marketers who use influencer marketing make $6.85 for every $1 spent on social media. Other benefits include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Increased consumer trust<\/strong>. 92% of today\u2019s consumers trust product recommendations marketed by people. Only 33% trust advertisements.<\/li><li><strong>Increased ROI<\/strong>. 81% of marketers believe in the power of influencer marketing<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In spite of the benefits mentioned, things also can go wrong. This happens f.e. when you work with influencers that don\u2019t relate to your brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Example of how it shouldn&#8217;t be:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/nbcblk\/pepsi-ad-kendall-jenner-echoes-black-lives-matter-sparks-anger-n742811\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pepsi\u2019s most recent campaign on social media triggered a lot of bad noise.&nbsp;<\/a>The company partnered with model and social media influencer, Kendall Jenner. The goal was to deliver a message for unification, while also promoting their famous soft drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people didn\u2019t get the message. <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dA5Yq1DLSmQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In the video<\/a>, Kendall offers a can of Pepsi to a police officer; triggering conflict. The masses \u201cdissected\u201d the commercial, claiming that it paints insensitive and unrealistic scenes of a mass protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pepsi clearly had good intentions. However, somehow there was no message of unity; but of conflict. After the commercial was pulled out, Jenner apologized. It\u2019s tempting to choose people with hundreds of thousands of fans on social media. That\u2019s not always the best decision. Dig a little deeper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When looking for female influencers to represent your brand, consider the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Relevance<\/strong>. Look beyond static metrics and unique visitors. Assess that influencer\u2019s content; to see whether or not it aligns with the message you want to convey.<\/li><li><strong>Engagement<\/strong>. How often does the influencer engage with her audience? Does she respond to comments?<\/li><li><strong>Authenticity<\/strong>. Influencers who don\u2019t post sponsored content that often are more authentic. &nbsp;Personal stories that incorporate your product, instill more trust than conventional product reviews.
