Instagram Collaborations
🚀 We’re happy to introduce our newest feature: Instagram Collaborations.
You can now add up to 3 collaborators to your Instagram posts (excluding Stories). The collaborator channels simply need to have a public channel.
⚠️ Important Note: Once a post is published, collaborators can’t be adapted. This is why we won’t publish your post if the channel doesn’t exist or is private. Please pay extra attention when setting up Instagram collaborations.
After publishing, collaborators receive a request to accept or decline. While our calendar and composer previews will always display the collaborators, we will keep you up to date on the collaboration request status by:
- Updating the status in Composer
- updating the status in the post card in Inbox
- Reports display only accepted collaborations
While much is already possible, there are still minor limitations due to the APIs:
- In Swat.io you will only see Collab posts published by you
- To approve or decline Collaboration requests, you need to go directly to the mobile Instagram app. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to do it via our Swat.io Inbox. However, to ensure you don’t miss any Collab requests, you’ll receive a notification in your inbox informing you of incoming requests. Please note that Instagram Collab requests can only be responded to through the mobile Instagram app. The browser version or Facebook Business Manager does not support this function.
Engage, collaborate, and expand your reach organically! Find more details in our Help Center article. 🌟
