“Thanks to Swat.io, we have made our social media management more professional."
“We launched our Instagram channel in early 2022. Prior to that, we were already using Facebook together with our agency, but we regularly lost track of things due to countless emails and Word documents. It would have been counterproductive had we added another channel to the mix and continued like that,” says Lisa from Bank Burgenland, who oversees all marketing for the bank and is also in charge of social media.
Bank Burgenland is a regional bank in eastern Austria. It has 13 branches, operates mainly in Burgenland, and serves both private, corporate and real estate customers. As a local financial institute, it understands what people in the region need. The consultants there know their customers personally and often advise several generations of a family.
For Bank Burgenland, it is important to be accessible to its target audience on social media. In doing so, it aims to strengthen its image, generate reach and build a community. With the launch of Bank Burgenland’s Instagram channel, it became clear that it needed a professional framework. “I wanted our collaboration to be more efficient and transparent,” says Lisa. “Our agency suggested using Swat.io. After trying the tool, I knew that it would make planning and ongoing coordination much more efficient. You can see everything at a glance, which means I no longer have to jump back and forth between Facebook and Instagram and keep both in mind.”
Since Bank Burgenland started using Swat.io, many of its processes in social media management have become faster and more professional. “Coordinating with the agency or with colleagues is much simpler and less complicated. We have found good processes here; when the agency tags me in the tool, I immediately know that something needs my attention. All areas of social media management are more transparent, and my supervisor can see what’s happening or planned on our channels at a glance in Swat.io,” says Lisa.
Both the bank and the agency save time with the tool. Drafts of posts or community management responses are entered as suggestions and approved by Lisa directly in the tool. Both sides can link each other in notes and tweak the draft together until it’s right. With emails, you run the risk of things being overlooked. But with Swat.io, all steps and details are documented at the point where they are relevant, meaning that no time is lost with confusing coordination processes.
When asked who she would recommend Swat.io to, Lisa says: “Any company that has multiple social media channels. It facilitates coordination, saves many queries and it is always clear who is responsible for what. Swat.io is a good investment for companies that want to make their social media management more professional.”
